Ducks' Run Ends in Semifinals

Shweta Sangwan and Julia Eshet’s run at the ITA Northwest Regional came to an end in the semifinals on Monday
STANFORD, Calif. - Shweta Sangwan and Julia Eshet's impressive run at the ITA Northwest Regional came to an end as they fell in the semifinals on Monday.
How It Happened: Sangwan and Eshet took the court for the Ducks where they faced Anna Bright and Jasie Dunk of Cal.
Despite putting up a fight, the duo could't hold on and dropped a close one to the Bears, 7-6(3), 7-6(4).
Despite their loss, Sangwan and Eshet will still be considered for an at-large bid to the 2018 Oracle Fall National Championships.
Up Next: The Ducks will travel to Lexington, Ky., for the Kentucky Invitational. Hosted by University of Kentucky, the three-day tournament will run from Friday, Nov. 2 to Sunday, Oct. 4.
