On Oregon's play overall
“After a slow start to the second, I thought we played really hard and really well. But we weren't focused for long stretches of the first half.”
On closing out an opponent, after losing some big leads earlier in the season
“I think some of that's improved depth. It was really nice have Dwayne (Benjamin) and Chris come off the bench and give us good second halves. That's part of it. And I think we've learned we've got to continue to play, especially against a team like this.”
Dwayne Benjamin, UO senior
On the Ducks' halftime adjustments
“We just lost the shooters. Wasn't really focused. We went in at halftime and really made the adjustments. … We were scoring points and they were scoring right back, and that's not how we want to play.”
Notable: Hammonds finished 8-of-10 from three-point range, setting an arena record for made three-pointers in a game. … Benson had two turnovers, doubling his season total, though with five assists he remained the NCAA leader in assist-to-turnover ratio (9.0). … Boucher's double-double was his fourth in five games. … The Ducks had six players score in double figures for the first time in a little more than two years (Dec. 8, 2013).
Up Next: Oregon was scheduled to leave town Saturday for a game Monday at Alabama (6 p.m. PT, ESPNU).
