BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- Dillon Brooks and Elgin Cook combined for 48 points, but it wasn't enough as No. 24 Oregon fell 74-72 to Boise State at Taco Bell Arena on Saturday.
Brooks scored 26 points to tie his career high and lead the Ducks (7-2), while Cook added 22, a new season high for the senior.
Jordan Bell made his first appearance of the season after being sidelined by injury for the first eight games of the season. Bell finished the game with three points, seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 17 minutes.
James Webb III had 12 points and Mikey Thompson added 11 as the Broncos (7-4) beat the Ducks for the first time in six tries. It was also Boise State's first home win against a ranked opponent since beating then-No. 21 Utah State on Feb. 14, 2009.
Oregon trailed by as many as 17 points but forced five turnovers and made four 3-pointers in the final 4:44 to pull within two. Brooks' last-second drive and shot was off the mark, and the Ducks lost for the second time in three games to a Mountain West team.
Oregon made eight of its first 10 shots to take a 21-11 lead. Boise State responded with a 13-0 run over a nearly 6-minute stretch that gave the Broncos a 24-21 lead with 6:47 left in the half.
Boise State never trailed again.
