finished 19th with a time of 29:04.24, which was just 19 seconds
over the automatic qualifying standard of 28:45.00. His brother, Diego, was 22nd
in 29:14.58.
The event was won by LaSalle's Sean Quigley in a time of 28:03.72 in a race where the top 14 finishers all ran under the automatic qualifying standard, and 22 of 26 competitors all bettered the provisional qualifying standard of 29:30.00. Quigley placed fourth in last year's NCAA outdoor 10,000 meters.
