
Oregon Men Win Three in a Row at Home

Freshmen Douglas Mayeda and Duncan MacDonald-Korth took the victory over Jeff Cero and Alex VanDerschelden at the No.3 doubles spot in under a half hour, sweeping 8-0.
At the No.2 spot, Francisco Gallardo and Stephen Wiechert clinched the doubles point for the Ducks, with a 8-6 win over Sean Eberle and Adam Blackner.
Oregon swept doubles play, going ahead 1-0 after the final doubles match between Geoff Embry and Marcos Verdasco and Kyle Erickson and Alex Hart at the No.1 spot, where the Ducks won 8-5.
As singles play commenced,
Gallardo took the first two matches 6-2, 6-1 to claim victory over Erickson at the No.2 spot.
Cornelissen then defeated Eberle at the No.3 spot with relative ease, only allowing him two points in the first two matches, with a final score of 6-2, 6-2.
Douglas Mayeda brought home the fifth
The match at the No.5 spot turned out to be the longest of
the evening, but with benefit
After winning all three doubles and all six singles matches, the Ducks bring home the victory 7-0, making their season record 9-7.
