Oregon sophomore Jaclyn Jones led the way for the Ducks scoring 11 points on nine kills and four blocks. Jones also hit .375 in the match while freshman Erin Little hit .316 and scored 8.5 points with eight kills and one block.
"We really didn't play exceptionally well or terribly poor," Head Coach Carl Ferreira said. "It was just very methodical in rhythm. The biggest key is for us to stay positive and focus on our growth and development.
Freshman Sarah Mason, who has also been a solid offensive contributor for the Ducks in the preseason, had six kills and two blocks. Sophomore Kelly Russell had nine kills and six blocks to continue her steady play at the net.
"One of the best things about the match is that we had more blocks per game than we have had all season," Ferreira said. "When you're blocking like that at the net, you start digging more balls, playing better defense and generating your offense."
