2020-21: Indoor – Made UO debut with a time of 16:20.67 in the 5,000 meters at the Tyson Invitational (Feb. 13) … finished fourth overall … finished 10th with the DMR (11:22.74) at the NCAA Championships; ran the 1600-meter anchor leg … collected Second Team All-America accolades. Outdoor – NCAA West Preliminary qualifier (5,000 meters) … began the season with a fifth-place finish and 15:54.05 outing at the Hayward Premiere (April 3) … ran 4:21.20 in the 1500 meters at the West Coast Classic, was fifth in the race … capped the season with a 16:18.21 at the NCAA West Preliminary in College Station; finished in 17th place overall.
2019-20: Did not compete during the indoor season.
Before Oregon…
Finished third at the 2018 European U18 Championships at 3,000 meters … established a personal best of 9:25.25 at the meet … competed at the Youth Olympic Games in Argentina in October 2018 … finished eighth at 3,000 meters (9:26.56) at the meet … also carries personal bests of 4:28.39 at 1,500 meters and 4:54.01 in the mile.
