2003-04: Looking for a break-out senior season after going through some ups and downs while learning the UO system as a first year player last year. Key member of an exceptionally deep Oregon bench in role as either a reserve or a starter. One of the team’s more emotional players brings instant energy into a game. Potentially Oregon’s best perimeter defender.
2002-03: Top reserve garnered Pac-10 Newcomer of the Year honors. May have had Oregon’s defensive play of the year, preventing UCLA’s Ray Young from getting an open look in the final seconds of Oregon’s 75-74 semifinal win in the Pac-10 tournament. Fourth on team in scoring at 9.3 points per game. Third on team with 47 three-pointers. Played in 32 games with four starts. Had 15 double figure scoring games. Scored 16 points Dec. 4 versus Portland. Had 14 points in Dec. 22 win over No. 25 Minnesota. Ten points and a career-best five assists Jan. 4 versus Arizona State. Career-high 10 rebounds Jan. 18 versus Oregon State. Career-high 18 points came in Feb. 2 loss at USC. Had 17 points in home wins versus Washington (Jan. 23) and Stanford (Feb. 6), where he drained five three-pointers.
BEFORE OREGON: Averaged 22.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists as a sophomore at Lee Junior College in Baytown, Texas. An NJCAA All-Region XIV first team selection. Led Lee to a 24-10 record and semifinals of the Region XIV tournament. Led conference in three-point field goals made with 123. Made 42 percent of his three-points attempts (123-293) and 87.2 percent of his free throw attempts (95-109). Ranked third in the conference in scoring, second in three-point field goal percentage and first in free throw percentage. Averaged 15.8 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game as a freshman to help Lee to an 18-13 record and a No. 10 final ranking in Texas. Initially recruited by the Ducks as freshman coming out of Furr High School in Houston, Texas. Was district MVP and an all-state, all-region and all-Houston selection at Furr for coach Deryl Glenn. Won three letters in basketball and one in track as a long jumper. Rated the 107th-best high school player in the nation by USA Today. Signed with Stephen F. Austin out of Furr and redshirted his first year, but left after a coaching change.
