Harper Goes to OKC in 2026 AUSL Draft

EUGENE, Ore. – Senior Amari Harper was selected by the Oklahoma City Spark in the third round of the 2026 Athletes Unlimited Softball League Draft on Monday. She was the 14th pick overall.
Harper is second on Oregon with a .401 average (57-of-142) and has a career-high 15 home runs to go along with nine doubles and two triples. She has driven in 47 runs. Harper is slugging .810 and has a team-best .516 on-base percentage.
She will be teammates with UO assistant coach Sydney Romero, who is also with the Spark.
Harper will be one of two Duck alums playing in the AUSL during the 2026 season. Shortstop Paige Sinicki, the 2024 Gold Glove winner at shortstop, was selected by the Portland Cascade in the 2025 AUSL Allocation Draft in December.
Other Ducks who have previously played in the AUSL include U.S. National Team members Gwen Svekis (2020-24) and Janie (Takeda) Reed (2020-21), as well as DJ Sanders (2020-23) and Karissa Hovinga (2020).
