Ducks Await NCAA Regional Selection
04/26/26 | Women's Golf
GLENDALE, Calif. – The Oregon women's golf team wrapped up play at the 2026 Big Ten Championships on Sunday, finishing in ninth place at 38-over par after shooting 17-over par in the final round at Oakmont Country Club.Â
The No. 6 Ducks will now await their NCAA Regional selection, which will be announced on Golf Channel at 1 p.m. PT on Wednesday, April 29.Â
How it Happened: The Ducks had a hard time getting birdies to fall on Sunday, with the five-player lineup combining for six total. Oregon's four counting scorers shot 8 over on the front nine in the final round and 9 over on the back nine.Â
Sophomore Tong An finished as the top Duck on the leaderboard in a tie for 20th overall at 8 over, but a 5-over start through the first four holes on Sunday led to a 7-over 77.
Darae Chung and Sophie Han each finished the final round with a 3-over 73, and Annika Ishiyama was one stroke behind with a 4-over 74.Â
Ducks on the Leaderboard:
9. Oregon — 290-291-297 — 878 (+38)
T-20. Tong An — 71-70-77 — 218 (+8)
T-25. Darae Chung — 72-75-73 — 220 (+10)
T-36. Annika Ishiyama — 76-72-74 — 222 (+12)
T-42. Sophie Han — 73-78-73 — 224 (+14)
T-50. Karen Tsuru — 74-74-77 — 225 (+15)
Notable: Oregon played at the Big Ten Championships without junior Kiara Romero, the 2025 Big Ten individual champion and the No. 1 ranked amateur in the world ... Romero missed the conference tournament to play in an LPGA major at the Chevron Championship ... Oregon saw its streak of consecutive top-five finishes end at 21 tournaments.
