
Men's Tennis Defeats Penn State on the Road

University Park, Penn. - No. 59 Oregon picked up a 4-2 road win over Penn State on Sunday in Pennsylania.
The Ducks (14-8, 5-6) dropped the doubles point after Penn State claimed wins on courts one and three, but quickly turned things around in singles play.
Oregon evened the match as Pierre Mouesca cruised to a 6-1, 6-4 victory at No. 2 singles, and Sam Olszakowski followed with a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 4 to give the Ducks the 2-1 lead, their first of the match.
After Penn State's Eyal Shyovitz earned a 6-1, 6-1 decision at No. 5 to tie the match, Oregon regained control behind Vlad Breazu, who posted a 7-5, 6-2 win on court one.
Freshman Cameron Burton clinched the match for the Ducks with a three-set victory at No. 6, defeating Kyle Chesman 6-1, 5-7, 6-4. His brother Matthew Burton was tied in the third set on court three when the match was clinched.Â
The Ducks return home next weekend to close out the regular season as hosts to UCLA and USC.Â
