Clemente Named to WNT Collegiate Training Roster

The USA Volleyball training sessions will take place Feb. 19-22 in Colorado Springs, Colo.
EUGENE, Ore. — Rising sophomore Alanah Clemente has earned a spot on the U.S. Women's National Team Collegiate Training roster as announced Tuesday by USA Volleyball. The training sessions will be held Feb. 19-22 at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Clemente is the reigning Big Ten Freshman of the Year and was named to the 2025 AVCA All-America Third Team. During her standout freshman campaign, she was third among NCAA freshmen with 4.73 points per set. Clemente registered double-digit kills in 22 of 29 matches, reaching 20 or more kills in seven outings.
The Santa Clarita, Calif., native finished the year with 501.0 total points with 412 kills, 124 digs, 69.0 total blocks and 51 service aces. Clemente finished third in the Big Ten in aces.
The Women's National Team Collegiate Training (WNTCT) will bring together 62 athletes representing 29 NCAA Division I programs. Women's National Team head coach Erik Sullivan will lead the training alongside assistant coach Brandon Taliaferro.
In addition to on-court training, WNTCT athletes will participate in professional volleyball presentations from Athletes Unlimited, Major League Volleyball and League One Volleyball.
Clemente is one of eight opposites and one of 25 Big Ten athletes listed on the training roster.
Oregon finished the 2025 season, its first under head coach Trent Kersten, with a 17-13 record with an 8-12 mark in Big Ten play including top-25 wins over Minnesota, Purdue and UCLA.
