New Beginnings
A new voice will lead the Ducks for the first time in 16 years this season, after Dana Altman announced his retirement on October 7. Tony Stubblefield was announced as interim head coach after 13 years as an assistant coach with the Ducks. Stubblefield has been a part of some of the winningest teams in program history and helped recruit and develop numerous future NBA players.

The 2026-27 Oregon roster features 10 new players, including eight Division I transfers and two incoming freshmen. Sean Stewart is the lone returning starter from last year's team and Wei Lin joins him as the only two major contributors that return from the 2025-26 roster.

The contest versus Seattle is one of two home exhibition games for Oregon, along with Stanford on Oct. 25. Tickets to both games are $5 and fans will get an early look at what should be an exciting group to watch this season.
