Men's Golf Starts Fall Season at Sahalee Players Championship

EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon men's golf program kicks off the 2025 fall season at the Sahalee Players Championship in Sammamish, Wash. this weekend. The 54-hole tournament at Sahalee Country Club will consist of 36 holes of golf on Saturday (Sept. 6) with the final round being played on Sunday (Sept. 7).
Live scoring will be provided by clippd. Tee times are set for 7:00 a.m. pacific each day.
THE FIELD
In a highly competitive season opener, the Ducks will be part of an 11-team field that features three other Big Ten programs and seven teams ranked in the top 25:
No. 3 Texas, No. 4 Florida, No. 6 Arizona State, No. 15 North Carolina, No. 24 UCLA, No. 25 San Diego State, Northwestern, Oregon, Pepperdine and Washington.
The Division I programs will also be joined by six players from the U.S. Junior National team.
THE LINEUP
A pair of Ducks will make their debut in the Oregon lineup, while three return from last season:
Sahalee Players Championship
1) Aiden Krafft – The 2024 Sahalee Player's Tournament Individual Champion.
2) Sebastian Desoisa – Making collegiate debut after representing England at the 2024 Junior Golf World Cup.
3) Jay Gould-Healy – Contributed 18 counting scores for the Ducks last season, including a pair of top-10 finishes.
4) Casper Nerpin – Entering first season at Oregon after three years competing with the University of Delaware.
5) Tim Chang – Competed in five tournaments with Oregon as a freshman in 2024-25.
Ind) Ramil Saelim – Named to the 2024-25 Big Ten All-Freshman team while posting a 72.80 scoring average.
Oregon will be grouped with Arizona and the U.S. Junior Team for the first 36 holes of play while Ramil Saelim, competing as an individual, will be paired with Arizona's William Wistrand and Washington's Vidur Subramaniam.

TEE IT UP
- Sahalee Country Club is a par 72, 7,003 yard course.
- Aiden Krafft was the individual champion of the 2024 Sahalee Player's Tournament. Finishing one stroke above Arizona State's Jose Luis Ballester and Preston Summerhays, Krafft tied for the tournament lead in par-5 scoring average (4.33, -8) and was second with 12 birdies.
- Entering 2025-26, Krafft sits just outside Oregon's top 10 with a career scoring average of 72.03. Norman Xiong holds the Oregon program record at 69.91.
- The Ducks had five top-five finishes in 2024, including wins at the Bandon Dunes Championship and Duck Invitational.
- Head coach Casey Martin brought in four new Ducks for the 2025-26 campaign - one transfer and three freshmen. Casper Nerpin looks to impress in his Oregon debut after three seasons at Delaware, where he led the team with a 72.96 stroke average across 28 rounds last season. Sebastian Desoisa, Oscar Lent and Theodore Vigna join the program as freshmen.
