Ducks at the WCH Tokyo 25

The nine-day global championship will be contested Sept. 13-21 at Japan National Stadium.
EUGENE, Ore. – Six Oregon athletes that competed for the Ducks this past season have qualified for the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25. The nine-day global championship will be held Sept. 13-21 at the Japan National Stadium. With the time difference (+16 hours), competition starts Thursday evening for those watching from Eugene.
Silan Ayyildiz, Mia Barnett, Matthew Erickson, Klaudia Kazimierska, Wilma Nielsen and Jaida Ross were all on the UO roster during the 2024-25 cross country and track and field seasons. Erickson and Nielsen won NCAA indoor titles this past March in the 800 meters and mile, respectively. Full list of the Oregon athletes competing is below.
