Ducks to Play in Bay Area Women’s Classic

SAN FRANCISCO – The Oregon women's basketball team will take part in the second annual Invisalign Bay Area Women's Classic, where the Ducks will meet former conference rival Stanford on Sunday, Dec. 21 at Chase Center in San Francisco.
The Ducks and Cardinal will be the first half of a doubleheader at Chase Center, with Cal and USC facing off in the nightcap. Both games will be televised by ESPN (game times to be announced at a later date). Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 27 at 12 p.m. PT at ChaseCenter.com and through Ticketmaster.
UO returns nine players from last year's team, which advanced to the second round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament, while welcoming in two freshmen and three transfers. Oregon was one of only two double-digit seeds to advance out of the first round of last year's NCAA Tournament, finishing the season with a 20-12 record. The postseason bid marked Oregon's sixth NCAA Tournament appearance in the last eight tournaments under head coach Kelly Graves, who enters his 12th season in Eugene.
The matchup will be the 78th all-time meeting between Oregon and Stanford, and first since the 2023-24 season while both were members of the Pac-12. Graves has led UO to six of its 14 all-time victories over the Cardinal, including three straight victories during the 2019-20 season, the last of which giving the Ducks a Pac-12 Tournament title.
