No. 8 Florida State, OSU Visit for Jane Sanders Classic

THIS WEEK
One of the biggest home weekends of the season is on deck as No. 12 Oregon hosts both No. 8 Florida State and Oregon State as part of the Jane Sanders Classic. FSU last visited Eugene in 2017 when the fifth-ranked Ducks swept the second-ranked Seminoles in a three-game series. The Ducks face FSU Friday at 6 p.m. First pitch for Saturday's Rivalry Series with OSU will be at 3:30 p.m. The Ducks and FSU will play for a second time Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Abilene Christian, coached by former UO assistant Jo Koons, is also part of the tournament. Oregon plays ACU Sunday at 5 p.m. and Monday at 10:30 a.m.

Oregon leads the Big Ten in earned run average (1.71) and is 10th nationally.
HOME COOKING FOR THE PITCHING STAFF
Oregon's pitching staff put up a 0.90 earned run average the first weekend at home during the Oregon Classic. Taylour Spencer went 2-0 with a complete game, two-hitter against Portland State (9-1), she also allowed just one hit in 5.0 innings against Loyola Chicago (9-1). Lyndsey Grein also had an ERA below 1.00 (0.72). She struck out 16 in 9.2 innings and allowed one earned run. She threw a complete game shutout against San Diego, holding the Toreros to three hits while striking out 11 in a 6-0 win. Elise Sokolsky also threw a shutout as she blanked Loyola Chicago on three hits over six innings (8-0).
NCAA STEALS LEADERS
As a team, Oregon leads the NCAA with 81 steals. Individually, Kai Luschar is third nationally with 23 steals.
WE'VE GOT THE POWER
The Ducks are fourth nationally in home runs with 36 and 13th nationally in RBI (153).
LEADERS OF THE PACK
The Ducks rank in the Big Ten's top three in 10 different offensive categories. Oregon is pacing the league in scoring, steals, steals per game and walks. The Ducks are second in home runs and on-base percentage. Oregon is third in doubles, hits, RBI and slugging percentage.
FRESHMEN IMPACT
Oregon's freshmen have accounted for more that half of the team's home runs. Freshmen have hit 21-of-36 homers (58.3 percent). Rylee McCoy leads the team with nine, followed by Stefini Ma'ake with eight. Emma Cox has four homers.

Paige Sinicki has started 150 consecutive games at shortstop for the Ducks.
