Men's Tennis Falls Short to Huskies

EUGENE, Ore. - The Oregon men's tennis team fell short of a rivalry win in a 4-1 loss against the Washington Huskies.
Vlad Breazu and Lachlan Robertson picked up a doubles win from court three, but the Huskies ultimately took the point with victories on courts one and two.
No. 111 ranked Dzianis Zharyn defeated No. 88 Breazu in straight sets on court two.
Freshman Paris Pouatcha put the Ducks on the scoreboard, acing his final serve to secure a 7-5, 6-3 victory on court three.
Washington extended their lead to 3-1 when Ivan Sodan defeated Matthew Burton in three sets on court five. The Huskies clinched the match with No. 51 ranked Cesar Bouchelaghem defeating No. 99 Lenn Luemkemann 6-3, 7-5.
Clement Lemire and Lachlan Robertson went unfinished in the their third sets on courts four and six respectively.
The Ducks head to Los Angeles next weekend for a pair of matches with UCLA and USC on March 29 and 30.
