Leach Named Big Ten Golfer of the Week

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon's Greyson Leach was named the Big Ten Men's Golfer of the Week following his runner-up finish at the Bandon Dunes Championship, the league office announced Thursday.
Leach led the Ducks at Bandon Trails, shooting 4-under 209 (67-72-70) over 54 holes at Bandon Trails to lead the Ducks to their first team title since the 2022-23 season. The senior finished fifth in the field with 11 total birdies, finishing four under on par-5s and even on par-3s and 4s.
The result marked Leach's ninth top-10 finish of his career and second this season after tying for sixth at the Sahalee Players Championship in September. The senior ranks sixth in program history with a 71.83 career scoring average.
Leach becomes the second Duck to take home weekly honors this season. Aiden Krafft was the first golfer recognized by the Big Ten this year after he took home medalist honors at the Sahalee Players Championship to start the season.
Leach and the Ducks will tee off next at the Duck Invitational at Eugene Country Club on Monday, March 24.
