Softball Gives Back with Community Service Drives

EUGENE, Ore. – In what's become an annual tradition, the Oregon softball team gave back to the community through number of service drives held during the fall season.
In spite of challenges presented by less-than-ideal weather, Duck fans helped the team gather assistance for local pets and their owners, as well as collect toys and clothing for those in need in the community.
The popular Socktoberfest sock drive saw fans and teams alike come together to donate socks of all sizes from infant to adult. Over the past four years, More than 4,000 pairs of socks have been collected in partnership with Looking Glass Community Services.
