THIS WEEK
Oregon is spending spring break in Southern California. The Ducks defeated Cal State Fullerton, 12-4, Tuesday prior to a three-game series at No. 14 UCLA that begins on Thursday. The UCLA series will be on Pac-12 Networks.
SCOTT NAMED PAC-12 POTW
For her effort against Arizona State, including a complete game win, a save and a 0.00 ERA, Morgan Scott was named Pac-12 pitcher of the week. Over the weekend, she threw 9.1 innings, striking out seven and walking none.
PAC-12 LEADERBOARD
Ariel Carlson is now tied for the Pac-12 lead in RBI with 36. She is No. 2 in the Pac-12 in HR (9), No. 3 in slugging pct. (.790) and No. 8 in steals (10). Kai Luschar is No. 1 in steals (18).

CARLSON MOVES TO TOP OF PAC-12 RBI LIST
With two RBIs Tuesday at Fullerton, Ariel Carlson moved into a tie for the Pac-12 kead with 34 (Carlie Scupin, Arizona). Carlson also ranks second in the Pac-12 in home runs (9) and slugging percentage (.770). She's also seventh in stolen bases with 10, making her the only player in the conference with nine or more home runs and steals. She's 12-for-27 (.444) in league games with five home runs and 12 RBI. She's also been walked six times and has four stolen bases. Carlson recently entered the UO career top 10 in home runs and is currently tied for seventh with 37.
LUSCHAR PACING PAC-12
Kai Luschar leads the Pac-12 in steals (18) and is fourth in hits (44), third in average (.427) and fourth in on-base percentage (.482). Nationally, she's 15th in steals, 22nd in hits and 29th in batting average. She also one of the toughest batters to strike out - going nearly 20 plate appearances (19.8) between strikeouts.
LUSCHAR MATCHES STEALS MARK
Kai Luschar tied the program record with four steals Feb. 29 versus Mount St. Mary's. Luschar is the fourth player in program history with four steals in a game, joining Marnie McCall (1991), Suzie Barnes (2001) and Neena Bryant (2009).
ELITE LEVEL DEFENSE
A hallmark of coach Melyssa Lombardi's program, Oregon is again one of the best defensive teams in the nation. The Ducks are 11th nationally and third in the Pac-12 and in fielding percentage (.979). Two years ago (2022), Oregon led the Pac-12 and ranked 10th nationally with a .977 fielding percentage. That mark tied the program record set the year before (2021).
GLOVE WORK
Oregon committed two errors in the season opener against Maryland and then had a stretch of 23 games committing one error or less. The streak ended when the Ducks had two errors March 16 at Utah. Oregon has 16 error-free games, 10 single-error games three, two error games and one three-error game so far in 2024.
