Freshmen Ducks Duo Start Fall Season 3-0

SAN DIEGO – Oregon men's tennis started the fall season with a number of victories in San Diego this weekend. The freshmen Clement Lemire and Paris Pouatcha each finished a perfect 3-0 in singles on the weekend.
Lemire did not lose a set on the weekend, sweeping all three of his singles victories against competition from UC Irvine, San Diego and Navy. Pouatcha dropped just one set on the weekend, as the pair looked strong in their collegiate debuts.
Matthew Burton and Zian Vanderstappen each picked up singles victories on Sunday. Each of the Ducks doubles pairs finished 1-2 on the weekend, with Burton/Pouatcha and Lemire/Vanderstappen teaming up. The full list of results is below.
