Ducks Seek Strong Finish Entering Final Round

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. — The Oregon women's golf team will look to finish strong in the final round of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate after posting a 13-over 297 in Tuesday's second round at Long Cove Club.
The No. 3 Ducks are tied for 12th place at 24-over par with 18 holes left to play. No. 4 South Carolina leads the 17-team field at 1-under par.
How it Happened: Junior Ashleigh Park was the top performing Duck for the second day in a row, coming in with a 1-over 72. Park started her day by going bogey-birdie-bogey before making par on her final 15 holes.
Park is tied for seventh on the individual leaderboard at even par, following her 1-under 70 in Monday's opening round. The first-year Duck is four strokes behind South Carolina's Mathilde Claisse, who leads the field at 4-under par.
Hsin-Yu (Cynthia) Lu finished round two with a 3-over 74, Briana Chacon posted a 4-over 75, and Minori Nagano rounded out the counting scores with a 5-over 76.
