Meet Katie Keogh
11/20/23 | Women In Flight
Katie Keogh, a female student-athlete on the acrobatics and tumbling team, shares her story about her diagnosis with carcinoid cancer.
At the beginning of the school year, Women In Flight met with all of our female sports programs to talk about the Women In Flight program. After meeting with the acrobatics and tumbling team, Katie Keogh, a current senior student-athlete, left feeling inspired to reach out to Women In Flight and use our platform to tell her story.
Three years ago, Katie was diagnosed with carcinoid cancer. Within four months of her diagnosis, Katie was back on the mat. Katie is now cancer free and tumbling into her senior season.
