11/27/19 | Men's Basketball
PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas – No. 11 Oregon rallied from a 19-point deficit to defeat No. 13 Seton Hall 71-69 on Shakur Juiston's put back basket with :13 left Wednesday in the opening round of the Battle 4 Atlantis at the Imperial Arena.
"I was just in the right place, right time," said Juiston, a Newark, N.J., native who finished with 12 points and nine rebounds.
The Ducks (6-0) will face No. 8 Gonzaga in the semifinals Thursday at 1 p.m. Pacific Time on ESPN.
How it Happened: Ahead 34-30 at the break, the Pirates (4-2) opened the second half on a 15-0 run to take a 49-30 lead with 16:40 to play.
The Ducks got back into the game with a 9-0 that featured three-pointers by Payton Pritchard and C.J. Walker to cut Seton Hall's lead to 57-50 with 10:48 left to play.
The Pirates pushed their lead back to double digits, 67-57, with 6:30 to go before the Ducks went on a 12-2 run to tie the game at 69-69 with 1:09 remaining. Pritchard had four points in that run, while Walker and fellow freshman Chandler Lawson each added three.
On the Pirates' next possession, Oregon forced an errant shot by Myles Powell, who scored 32 points, to set the stage for Juiston.
Pritchard launched a three that just grazed the rim and Juiston, who leveraged inside position on his defender, grabbed the rebound and put back the game-winning lay-up.
The Ducks outrebounded the bigger pirates 39-28 and dominated points in the paint 38-14.
Who Stood Out: Walker had his first double-figure scoring game as a Duck with 12 points. Pritchard led Oregon with 16 points and six assists, while Chris Duarte scored 11.
