Ducks Advance Two Doubles Pairs to Round of 16

STANFORD, Calif. – Oregon's two remaining doubles pairs in the championship draw each moved on to the third round behind dominating victories Saturday at ITA Regionals at Stanford's Taube Family Tennis Stadium.
How it Happened: Rifanty Kahfiani and Allison Mulville got things rolling on day two for the Ducks by cruising to an 8-2 win over Chloe Goyette and Jordan Harris of Saint Mary's to move on to the round of 16. Julia Eshet and Lillian Mould were dominant in their match as well, winning 8-1 to give Oregon two doubles pairs in third round. Taryn Fujimori and Madisen Olsen picked up their first win as a pair in doubles competition with a 8-7 (4) win.
Kahfiani overcame a slow start in round one of singles consolation play to win 1-6, 7-5, 1-0 (3) while Mulville advanced following a back-and-forth match, winning 5-7, 7-6 (7), 1-0 (6). Olsen picked up her first collegiate singles win with a 6-0, 6-3 dispatching of UC Davis' Skyler Holm to wrap up play for the Ducks on Saturday.
