Quotes: Head coach Alison Silverio -
"All around, I think our whole team stepped up today. One of our goals today was to come out with a lot of energy and be able to execute in the adverse moments. I thought we did that well and it was great to see No. 1 (Tobita/Sangwan) and No. 3 (Nasser/Rose) get it done, with our No. 2 (Kluiving/Eshet) in a position to grab the win too. In singles, we were in heated battles up and down every single court. We had great leadership from our upperclassmen getting it done quickly and being the catalysts for everyone else. Even though Nia (Rose) and Julia (Eshet) didn't get singles wins today, they definitely had little victories in their matches and they're going to learn a lot from the fight we had today."
"The wonderful thing is that this team is hungry. They're excited to bring it every single day. I think this is going to be a motivating momentum shift for the team in tomorrow's practice, and also in Sunday's match."
Junior, Alyssa Tobita
"After having the last two weeks off, which was very unusual for the season, it was nice to get back into match mode and everyone was excited to go out there and face some tough opponents. We wanted to have a lot of positive energy today, which we did. I know we'll be able to carry that through into Sunday's match as well."
