Full results here.
How it Happened: Tobita and Sangwan came into the day having already done what no Duck doubles team in program history has done, reached the regional semifinals.
In their final four match, the pair squared off against Pac-12 rivals and fifth-seeded duo Emily Aruthnott and Michaela Gordon of Stanford.
After dropping the opening set of the best-of-three match 6-4, Tobita and Sangwan came from behind to win the match in a tiebreaker set 4-6, 6-1, 10-4.
What it Means: This is the first time in program history the Ducks have had a doubles pair in the regional championships. If Tobita and Sangwan can win tomorrow they will secure automatic entry into the 2017 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships Nov. 1-5 in Indian Wells, Calif.
Quotable: Alison Silverio, Head Coach
