Ducks Finish Georgia State Invite 26-1

ATLANTA, Ga. - The Oregon women's tennis team finished 26-1 after a sweep of singles matches on the final day of the Georgia State Invitational at Piedmont Park.
How It Happened: The Ducks finished 6-0 on Sunday in singles play against Furman University.
Senior Marlou Kluiving won 6-2,6-0 over Danni Vines in two sets. Junior Nia Rose defeated Katty Weymouth 7-5,7-6(9). Fellow junior Alyssa Tobita took down Katarina Kozarov in two sets, 6-4,6-1. With scores of 6-0-6-2 and 6-1,6-2, sophomores Shweta Sangwan and Daniela Nasser bested Aryn Greene and Hannah Ferrett, respectively. Freshman Julia Eshet defeated Karlee Bryde 6-4,7-5.
What it Means: The Ducks swept the Georgia State Invitational in doubles play.
In singles match-ups, the Ducks fell in only one match, finishing 17-1.
