
Ducks' Win Streak Ends vs. Huskies

SEATTLE, Wash. – The Oregon women's basketball team saw its three-game winning streak snapped on Sunday, with a 70-55 loss to Washington at Alaska Airlines Arena.
The Ducks dropped to 11-12 (4-8 Pac-12) while the Huskies improved to 18-6 (7-5).
Stat Sheet: Jilliian Alleyne had her NCAA-best 21st double-double of the season with 19 points and 19 rebounds. The junior reached double digits in scoring and rebounds with 6:16 left in the first half. Washington natives Jordan Loera and Lexi Petersen posted 12 and 10 points, respectively.
How It Happened: Oregon jumped out to an early 8-5 lead but the Huskies responded with a 12-0 run to take a 17-8 lead with 11:44 left in the first half. The Huskies kept the pressure on and led by eight with 10 minutes left in the half but the Ducks battled back and made it a one-point game, 24-23, with 4:33 remaining. Back came the Huskies, using a 10-2 run to take a 34-25 advantage with 2:56 left before halftime. Oregon trailed, 38-29, heading into halftime.
After Kelsey Plum went to the bench with her third foul at the 17:21 mark of the second half, UW's Jazmine Davis scored eight straight points to make it a 48-39 game with 13:49 remaining. The Ducks followed with a 7-0 run to make it a four-point game, 48-44, with 11:58 left. Washington answered yet again, this time with a 10-2 run to take a 58-47 lead with 9:17 remaining. Overall, the Huskies ended the game on a 22-11 run.
Notable: UW's Kelsey Plum and Jazmine Davis combined for 35 points, but the Ducks held them to 12-of-38 shooting … The Huskies went 12-of-14 at the free throw line while Ducks shot 6-of-13 at the stripe ... Alleyne has led Oregon in rebounding in 52 straight games.
