On the first half defense...
“I thought the first half we played very well, very hard except for our 11 turnovers. And really bad decisions, bad decisions, but defensively I thought out activity was good. We were up two in the boards. Like I said, you take out the 11 turn overs we had I thought we did pretty good offensively and defensively.”
On turnovers...
“Poor decisions making, we let some guys try to find their way, handling full court. We're just going to have to slow them down a little bit. We made too many bad mistakes.”
On Dillon Brooks...
“Well, he did make some big plays there. You have to have somebody make some plays and he did down the stretch, there were plenty of opportunities earlier in the half that we didn't take advantage of. But, he definitely made some plays down the stretch.”
On what needs improvement...
“Our ball handling has got to improve tremendously, we've got a lot of things to work on, but we've definitely made process, but I'd like to finish games stronger. That's the third time now that we've had a double digit lead and let the game come back.”

“We had major contributions from Torren Jones in the second half. We came alive. We were plagued by foul trouble early in the game…I thought a lot of our guys stepped up and played well down the stretch.”
On the run late in the second half…
“We didn't get the execution we wanted late in the second half. Nevertheless, I can live with those kinds of mistakes because guys are going hard.”
On the slow start to the game…
“Obviously, you never know how you're going to start games. You like to think you're going to start most better than we did tonight, but we fought some adversity. We let our offense affect our defense in the first seven minutes of the game. We actually got a few really good stops and lost the ball, then thought we needed to get it back too quick on offense. Then we really settled in and started playing.”
