On the up and downs of the game…
“The first five minutes of the second half just changed the whole ballgame. Really poor defense gave them a lot of easy baskets there and really turned the whole game around. We were up 10 in the first half and we got down 12 there in the second half and were very fortunate Jalil gave us eight in a row to get us back in the game.”
On fighting back…
“It was great for us, I didn't think we played well defensively. The first half we held them to 31% shooting and we were flying around, but in second half they go 50%. I thought our defensive effort was pretty good in the first half, but defensively we didn't play nearly as well in the second half.”
On Jordan Bell's performance on Alan Williams…
He just let him catch it too deep, he's just got to get lower. All of our post men need to get lower when they are playing someone that powerful. I'm not sure we will play a guy 280 (pounds) like that again with that power and touch, but we didn't get low enough and he caught it too deep. You can't let a big guy catch it that deep and we didn't want to double him because they've got other scorers.”

On winning their first overtime game…
“Obviously it will only make us better as a team. We just had to continue to make plays down the stretch and continue to keep fighting. We got a stop defensively, which was huge, and we made free throws at the end.”
On coming from behind to win…
“I think it shows a lot of resiliency. Obviously we got down in the second half and to show that resiliency to come back and to make plays and not quit was huge for us. Obviously it's a huge win for us against a good team.”
On his big steal late in regulation…
“He kind of made a lazy pass and I was just able to run through it. He tried to foul me, I think, but the ref didn't call it so I had the lay-up.”
On hitting a big three in overtime…
“I just give credit to my teammates finding me in that position. I just gave the ball a chance to go in, and it went in.”
On Jalil Abdul-Bassit…
“Jalil played fantastic today, obviously. Hitting shots, playing good defense, rebounding, he gave us a huge lift.”
