DUCKS DROP ROAD GAME AT WASHINGTON
Oregon lost at Washington on Thursday night, falling 89-67 at Hec Edmundson Pavilion in Seattle.
Senior forward Joevan Catron recorded his second double-double of the season, tallying team-highs with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Junior guard Garrett Sim added 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the floor.
Catron opened the second half scoring 11 straight points for the Ducks. Oregon took a 47-46 lead with 16:45 in the second half, but the Huskies out-scored UO 41-22 the rest of the way for the victory. Much of that point scoring was done in the painted area, where UW had a 46-18 edge in points in the paint.
Oregon shot below 40 percent on field goals for the fifth straight game. UO finished the game 24-of-61 on field goals for 39.3 percent. Washington was UO's fifth straight opponent to shoot at least 45 percent on field goals.
CATRON AVERAGING CAREER BESTS
Senior forward Joevan Catron has now played in 111 career games averaging career-bests for points (16.7 ppg) and field goal shooting percentage (.522, 83-of-159). He leads the team in scoring, rebounding (6.5 rpg) shooting percentage, field goals attempted and field goals made, while ranking second in minutes played (26.7 mpg).
Catron has scored in double-figures in 13 of the 15 games in 2010-11. Five of his six career 20-point games have occurred this season. He's led UO in scoring 13 times in his career, 10 of those have come in 2010-11.
Catron has scored 63.2 percent of his points after halftime, with 138 of his 250 total points coming during the final 20 minutes (and OT). In UO's last outing against Washington, Catron scored 17 of his team-high 20 points in the second half (including 11 straight points to open the stanza). In an overtime win over North Dakota State, he tallied 16 of his career-best 27 points in the second half. He also scored 18 of his 25 points in the second half of a home loss to San Jose State.
OREGON'S PAC-10 STATISTICAL RANKINGS

Senior forward Joevan Catron ranks third in scoring (16.7 ppg, 250) and offensive rebounds (3.1 orpg, 47). Sophomore forward E.J.
