Oregon - Arizona postgame quotes
12/31/10 | Men's Basketball
Oregon 57 Arizona 76
Dec. 30, 2010 - McArthur Court
POSTGAME QUOTES
Oregon Head Coach Dana Altman:
On the slow start:
“Right from the start, we had a bad shot, they rebound and put it in a couple times all of a sudden its 11-2.”
On Arizona's size:
“They're not known as shot blockers, they have some size, but we weren't physical enough with our rebounds, our block outs or our defense.”
On the press:
“Press was effective for us, when you force 19 turnovers you're doing well, our press was working just didn't capitalize on it.”
On the shooting performance:
“We're not a great shooting team, we're much better than we showed tonight. Hopefully we'll start to click, I was hoping we would click tonight but well practice hard tomorrow and get ready for Sunday.”
Jeremy Jacob #23
On Mac Court's last game:
“We really love to win for ourselves and our fans and the people that have been coming here for years.”
Arizona Head Coach Sean Miller
On Kevin Parrom:
“Kevin played really well for us tonight, I thought he was the best player on the court of the guards, he did some other good thing for us [other than scoring] he rebounded well and played defense well.”
“Oregon is a dangerous team at home because of the full-court pressure”
“One key to success is getting as many wins on the road as we can”
Kevin Parrom #3
On his game:
“When my jump shot is falling I feel like its going to be a great game and my rebounding was going too.”
“Our job this year is to be roadkillers that what coach says, if we can get a sweep or a split that's our goal we can't go on the road and lose both games.”
