UO's first run came in the bottom of the fifth inning when Ashley Kivett walked, advanced to third base after a pair of wild pitches, and scored on a groundout by junior left fielder Sari-Jane Jenkins.
Oregon also had two runners on in the third inning after singles by Ashley Kivett and Jenkins, but Bryant flied out to the front of the center field warning track for the final out.
In the top of the third inning, Oregon State (23-16, 2-2) went up, 4-0, off Duck starter Melissa Rice (11-6) thanks to an RBI double to left field by Alan Ford, a two-run homer Cambria Miranda to right center field, and an RBI double to center field by Audrey Roderfeld.
The Beavers scored three more runs in the fifth inning off senior pitcher Alicia Cook on a three-run homer by Roderfeld that barely cleared the right center field wall.
