
Huskies Sweep Ducks to End Season

SEATTLE ? The University of Oregon men's tennis team was shut out by the University of Washington, 7-0 Saturday afternoon.
The Ducks were unable to win a match all day, failing to capture a set.
The Huskies opened with three convincing doubles wins, as Daniel Chu and Alex Slovic defeated Thomas Bieri and Gustavo Loza, 8-2. Klaus Jank and Andy Kuharszky defeated Markus Schiller and Vlad Pino, 8-6. Jean-Noel Insausti and Mike Ricks defeated Eric Pickard and Mike Myrhed, 8-2.
The Ducks were also shut out in singles play as all six Huskies won in straight sets.
Oregon returns to action when they travel to southern California to compete in the Ojai, for the Pac-10 Championships, beginning Thursday.
