"The top-half of our singles lineup played very tough with Stanford's top-half, but they have an extreme amount of depth. Overall, it was a fantastic season and these players have nothing to be ashamed of. This team has now laid the foundation for future Oregon teams."
In singles, Stanford's lineup featured five players ranked among the top-40 nationally. No. 32 Logar gave the Cardinal a 2-0 lead with a straight set victory over junior Jamie Marshall. Stanford then picked up point No. 3 after No. 61 Yelsey defeated Bak, 6-1, 6-0. The Cardinal clinched the match when No. 36 Whitney Deason defeated junior Anna Leksinska, 6-1, 6-1.
