Ducks Fall in Final Round at Sunriver

SUNRIVER, Ore. -- The Oregon women's golf team shot a final round 306 and finished 21st at the NCAA Fall Preview Wednesday at the 6,312-yard, par-71 Meadows Course.
Sophomore Kim McCready led the Ducks by shooting a 3-over 74 in the final round. She finished the tournament tied for 48th overall at 11-over 224. Junior Erin Andrews had Oregon's best round Wednesday, a 1-over 72, and finished tied for 52nd at 12-over 225.
Duke carded a final round of 3-under 281 to defeat Washington by six strokes. The Blue Devils had a 858 total for the three-round event, followed by Washington (864), Oklahoma State (866), Arizona State (868) and Auburn (869).
Oregon's 306 gave the Ducks a 912 total that was just behind Washington State (911), Texas A&M (910) and Oregon State (909).
Individually, Karin Sjodin of Oklahoma State shot a 1-over 72 to defeat Louise Stahle of Arizona State by one stroke. Sjodin finished at 7-under 206. Stahle, who had a 73 Wednesday, was at 207. Brittany Lang of Duke finished third at 209.
