Steve Pohl joined the Oregon athletic staff in August 1996 and works as the video coordinator for all Oregon Athletics.

Pohl’s duties included providing situational game analysis tapes, interleave editing of football game tapes, and developing creative and promotional video tapes.

Pohl joined the Ducks after spending three years as the graduate assistant football video coordinator at the University of Illinois. In addition to football, Pohl helped to oversee the entire scope of video operations for the athletic department.

Before working at Illinois, Pohl spent three years as a program producer for FOX-TV. Pohl wrote and produced the Coach Kevin Donnely Show in cooperation with Georgetown College. He also produced a highlight film commemorating Georgetown College’s first NAIA Division III championship.

Pohl is 1992 graduate of Georgetown where he received a Bachelor of Arts in communications. He then went on to the University of Illinois where he received a Masters degree in education in 1996.
