Kate Pinkerton joined the athletic medicine staff in 2022. Pinkerton is currently responsible for managing the healthcare of the softball team.
Prior to her time at Oregon, she was an athletic trainer at Miami University of Ohio supporting the baseball and women’s tennis teams. She has also worked at Florida Atlantic.
Pinkerton earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Ohio State in 2017. She continued her education at McNeese State University with a Master’s in exercise physiology in 2019. She covered baseball and assisted with softball and soccer at McNeese.
Pinkerton’s professional interests include movement screenings and correctives, manual therapy, and enjoy all things shoulder. She holds additional certifications in functional movement screening and postural restoration institute.
Originally from New Lenox, Ill., Pinkerton resides in Eugene and enjoys traveling, baking, getting outdoors, and of course spending time with friends & family.
