Serving as Executive Director / Assistant Coach, Josh Jamieson is entering his 20th season with the University of Oregon. Most recently, Jamieson spent two seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Louisville before rejoining the Oregon staff.
Prior to his stint at Louisville, Jamieson spent the previous fifteen seasons at Oregon. In those years, the Ducks earned eight NCAA Tournament appearances and advanced to five Sweet Sixteens, three Elite Eights, and the Final Four in 2017. During that span, the Ducks also claimed four regular season conference championships and three conference tournament titles.
The Oregonian got his start as a graduate manager for the Ducks from 2000-03 when UO made back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances, advanced to the Elite Eight in 2002 and won both regular season and Pac-10 tournament titles. Jamieson then worked two seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Portland, before returning to his hometown of Medford as an assistant coach at South Medford High School. He was the head freshman coach at SMHS from 1996-2000 and helped South Medford reach back-to-back state championship games, winning the 6A title in 2007.
The Medford, Ore., native graduated from Southern Oregon in 2000 and earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the Lundquist College of Business at the University of Oregon in 2003.
Josh and his wife Amy reside in Eugene with their son.
