NFCA All-American Ilove'a Brittingham Signs with Oregon

EUGENE, Ore. – NFCA All-American power hitter Ilove'a Brittingham (pronounced EE-loh-vuh), who hit 32 home runs and drove in 107 runs in two seasons at BYU, is transferring to Oregon, coach Melyssa Lombardi announced Wednesday.

The junior outfielder from Nipomo, Calif., had a banner season in 2025 when she set BYU's freshman RBI record with 69 and hit 21 home runs to tie the school's freshman home run record. She earned NFCA third team All-America honors that season and was also a top 10 finalist for NFCA Freshman of the Year.

Ranked as the No. 10 player in the 2026 transfer class by SI.com, Brittingham was named a freshman All-American by both D1 Softball and Softball America. She was selected for both the all-Big 12 and NFCA all-Mountain Region first teams as well as the Big 12 all-Freshman Team.

Brittingham hit .410 (66-of-161), slugged .839 and had an OPS of 1.260 her freshman season. As a sophomore (2026), Brittingham hit .275 (28-of-138) with five doubles, 11 home runs and 38 RBIs.

In two seasons at BYU, Brittingham hit .348 (104-of-299) and slugged .712 with an OPS of 1.098. She also scored 65 runs and tallied nine doubles in addition to her 32 homers and 107 RBIs.

Prior to BYU, she was the 2024 NCSAA National Hitter of the Year at Oaks Christian School, where she teamed with current Duck junior Rylee McCoy.
