Oregon finishes the 2025 season with an 8-20 record.
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – The Oregon beach volleyball team's season came to an end Wednesday at the inaugural MPSF Championship in Huntington Beach, Calif. The Ducks lost their opening-round match to No. 2 seed and third-ranked Stanford before falling to Washington—the No. 7 tournament's seed—in an elimination match.
In that final dual of the day, Oregon won the first set at No. 1 and 3 pairs but Washington, ranked 20th in this week's AVCA poll, came away with the 3-1 victory. The Ducks tied the dual at 1-all with a straight-set win (21-14, 21-13) by Landree Coats and AJ Slojkowski on court three. The Huskies, however, got wins at the No. 4 and 5 spots in the lineup to clinch the match.
The Ducks' top duo of Bella Gamache and Ella Tyus were into a third set when the dual was settled, and did not finish their match at No. 1 pairs. In the longest set of the day, Natasha George and Liz Rossi lost a 27-25 opener on court five. It was the second longest (points play) by an Oregon pair this season.
Oregon finishes the 2025 season with an 8-20 record.
