Ducks Split Day In Salem

SALEM, Ore. - Oregon split its two matches Saturday in Salem, knocking off in-state foe Corban, 4-1, before falling to Boise State in the afternoon, 4-1, in a pair of nonconference matches.Â
How it Happened: The Ducks (5-2) split the first two matches against Corban to start the day, as Ashley Schroeder and Ella Tyus won 21-18, 21-19 at the No. 2 spot while UO fell in three sets at the No. 4 spot. From there though, the Ducks would roll in straight sets to clinch the match, as Alex Laita and Batia Rotshtein won 21-14, 21-17 on court No. 3 while Ally Haden and Savannah Siegrist picked up a 21-18, 21-14 win at the No. 5 spot.
Reagan Hope and Madelyn Lafollette capped off the win with a three-set victory at the No. 1 spot, winning 21-11, 18-21, 15-12.Â
UO dropped its second match of the day, falling 4-1 to Boise State as Siegrist and Haden earned the only individual match victory of the second match of the doubleheader with a 21-19, 21-18 victory.
