Later in the inning, Gwen Svekis was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded and Mary Iakopo followed with a bases loaded walk. After Bryant made a pitching change, another bases loaded hit by pitch, this time to Camuso, drove in another run. Bowden cleared the bases with a double to make it a 10-0 lead.

The Ducks took a 14-0 lead into the third where April Utecht blasted a pinch hit solo homer to left.
Oregon scored two more runs in the fourth when Miranda Elish, who tossed a one-hit shutout of Montana in the game prior, belted a two-run pinch hit homer to right center. Bryant scored its lone run of the game on a fielder's choice grounder in the top of the fourth.
