“It was really windy in the backstretch which was too bad. These guys were working really hard against the win. It's too bad. Matt (Centrowitz) got his qualifier in though which is a good thing.”

“This meet, at this time in the season, is a really good thing. The Twilight Meet coming up will be something special as well.”

“I went pretty hard in practice this week, and we were just seeing if my body could hold up the execution.”
On the race:
“I just was trying to run the way coach wanted me to. There was no headwind this time, only a tailwind so the curve was a little difficult but after that it felt great.”
On what she is working to improve:
“I tend to get lazy at the end of my races, so I am trying to work on my finish and stay smooth through the whole race.”

“It's a lot better than it was. The doctors said I probably wouldn't be able to throw, so it's great to come back and show them that I can do it.”

“I got out kind of slow but my last 120 meters were pretty good. I wanted to PR today but I got pretty close.”

“The workouts here are a lot faster, a lot stronger, and a lot harder. I can focus more on track than I could in high school.”

“I've been working on improving my form a lot. It's a very technical event and working hard in that area has been paying off.”

“We're always competing against each other. We goof off but we also push each other in the weight room and in sprints. It's really helped our level of competition.”

“I'm glad to be able to score some big points for the team. With the seniors we lost it's going to be harder to win the PAC 10 this year so we're all trying to step up and do everything we can to win the championship.”
