Sally Harmon becomes the first standout to be inducted both as an individual and as a team member in the same year. The three-time All-American , who also was a member of Oregon’s 1985 track team, won the 1981 AIAW javelin championship (177-0) in 1981 before finishing third in the NCAA meet in 1982 and '85. The school’s current assistant women’s track coach, who ranks third on the Ducks’ all-time javelin chart (190-4), has trained six All-Americans, three NCAA champions and five Pac-10 titlists since her coaching tenure originated in 1986.
