Bobby Anet
- Induction:
- 1996
- Class:
- 1939
The three-year starter captained the legendary Tall Firs teams his junior and senior seasons, leading his final collegiate team to the first NCAA basketball title in 1939. The 5-8 point guard gained the reputation as one of the game's smallest players with the biggest heart, helping the Ducks accumulate a three-year 74-22 ledger and a Pacific Coast Conference title prior to achieving national fame. Scoring 10 points in the national championship victory over Ohio State, the All-American had his number 20 jersey retired following his final season.
